Dreams To become a doctor!

Karmen is six years old and has a twin sister, Carol! There are three children in the home. Father is a painter and currently incarcerated. He’s been in jail for one month and has to serve one year. The mother does not want the children to know! They are part of Faith Church. Karmen is in kindergarten. Her favorite color is red. Her favorite food is rice. She loves dolls and Legos. She makes balls from socks filled with cotton Laguna also known as toss. The girls love to cook with their mother and help her in the kitchen, enjoy listening to Bible stories and go to their grandmother to hear stories. The twins are very sweet to each other !

Dayr Al Barsha is a village located in the governorate of Minya, which is located approximately an hour and a half south of Cairo. It has a population of 40,000 people of which 0% are Muslims, 40% are Evangelical Christians and 60% are Coptic Christians. Approximately 35% of the population is below the poverty line. The common agricultural products in the village are corn and wheat. The most common diseases are Hepatitis C, Kidney Failure, Kidney Problems.
